Since the beginning of the school year we are learning a lot about all the different aspects and contexts of plastic.
We did some research about plastic consumption and recycling in Germany, Iceland and Sweden. Now it is time to get the chemistry straight and find out what plastic is made of. We may be surrounded by many different plastiic objects in our day to day life but we never really got to know what it is all about.
The science lesson started with the topic of density of plastic and went on to make our own giant models of plastic monomers.
As we love to play games and our teachers know that, we did a little board game quiz competition after the sessions and the bravest one tried to challenge the teachers – all in all a lot of fun!
