Happy New Year

We wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year!✨ An eventful year comes to its end. This is the time of year to reflect upon the many things that have made 2019 so special.
We are so excited to be part of the Erasmus+ program. Through the project we got a a deeper insight into the global extent of the plastic pollution and had a closer look at its impact in our everyday life. We even had a scientific approach in order to understand what plastic is on a deeper chemical level and its harmful impact on nature ‍Furthermore we had the tremendous opportunity to travel to Iceland and meet up and work together on the project with our partners from Germany , Sweden and Iceland We are trying to apply the knowledge we gain in our daily routines and day to day life and are thankful for the opportunity given to work in such an amazing international team.

In 2018 Collins Dictionary has chosen “single-use” as its word of the year. The intend was to draw attention to the growing concerns about the high consumption of plastic and its impact on the environment.

As part of our new years resolution, we tracked our daily plastic usage and created our own plastic diary over the holidays. We were also inspired to take a closer look at the items we use on a regular basis and to try to find plastic free swap options if possible. What is your new years resolution? 😉
